SEBASTOPOL — Services for Ms. Sally Pierce Mauldin of Laurel will be held today at 3 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Miles
and Ed Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in the Rocky Hill Church of God
Cemetery.
Ms. Mauldin, 92, of Laurel, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, in Ridgeland. She was born on Jan. 27, 1918, to the late William and Alma Pilgrim.
Survivors include two sons, Burma Pierce and wife, Fannie, and James Pierce and wife, Kathy; stepson, James Roy Mauldin and wife, Ruth; stepdaughter, Stephanie M. Dean and husband, Bob; six grandchildren, Belinda P. Winstead, Brian Pierce, Tracey Pierce, Jeffrey Pierce, Judy B. McQueen and Henry Brand; step-grandchildren, Abby Dean and Samantha Dean, Ken Mauldin and Lorie Baker; 10 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lela Grace Irby and Bonnie Jean Nowell; brother, Billy Jo Pilgrim and wife, Sue; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husbands, George Pierce and Otha Mauldin; daughter, Theda P. Brand; three sisters, Claudine Graham, Jewel Irby, Quida Clark; and two brothers, William Lee Pilgrim and Lavon Pilgrim
Pallbearers will be Brian Pierce, Tracey Pierce, Jeffrey Pierce, Henry Brand, Josh McQueen, John Micheal McQueen and Holden Winstead. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Kelly, Graham Kelly and Blake Nowell
Visitation will be held today from 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m.
