Miss Eichelberger, Mr. Evans

    Miss Sherterica Eichelberger of Starkville and Mr. James Harold Evans Jr. of Gulfport will be united in holy matrimony on Saturday, July 23, 2011.

    The 2 p.m. ceremony will be held at the Hamasa Shriners Building in Marion.

    Parents of the couple are James and Betty Evans of Meridian and Hattie Eichelberger of Hollandale.

    The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence DeLacy Sr. of Newton, S.C., and the late Lee Dale Fain of North Chicago, Ill.

    Miss Eichelberger earned a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Mississippi State University.

    Miss Eichelberger is currently employed at MSU.

    The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Ruby Brown and the late Mr. Ezra Brown of Meridian and Mr. Clyde Evans of Newton and the late Mrs. Elmira Scott.

    Mr. Evans received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Mississippi State University.

    Mr. Evans is currently an electrical engineer with Mississippi Power Company.

    The couple will reside in Gulfport.
