Miss Gressett, Mr. Ethridge

 

    Johnny and Rita Gressett of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Sydney Brooke, to Caleb Ethridge, son of Debra and Kenny Neal and Mike and Joy Ethridge of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, May 8, 2010, at 2 p.m. at The Gressett Home.

    Miss Gressett is the granddaughter of Geraldine and Hershell Bateman of Meridian and Estelle and Jay Gregory of Little Rock and the late Clarence Gressett.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Mississippi State University-Meridian, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, and Meridian Community College, where she received an associate of arts degree. She is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.

    While attending Mississippi State University-Meridian, she was a member of the Psychology Club.

    Miss Gressett is employed by Weems Community Health Center as the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Prevention specialist.

    Mr. Ethridge is the grandson of Raymond and Lorene Harper of Meridian and Eddice Ethridge of Meridian and the late JC Ethridge.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School. He attended Meridian Community College.

    Mr. Ethridge is employed by East Mississippi Electric Power Association.

    A reception will be held at The Gressett Home.

    Family and friends are invited to attend.
