Anderson Support Award

SUBMITTED PHOTO The Anderson Support and Development Foundation, Inc., recently established two scholarship grants with the Meridian Community College Foundation. These $2,000 awards are designated for students in one of the Allied Health Programs at the college. This year's recipients are Elisha Freeman, a student in the Respiratory Care Technology Program, and Lindsay Johnson, enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Technology Program. Making the presentation are, from left: Dr. Richie McAlister, dean of Career and Technical Education, Kathy Brookshire, Director of the MCC Foundation, Mary Anderson, President and Chairman of the Board of the Anderson Support and Development Foundation, Elisha Freeman, Lindsay Johnson, Shazowee Edgerton, program coordinator for the Radiologic Technology Program, Shelia Johnson, Medical Laboratory Technology Program Coordinator and Holly Fettinger, Medical Laboratory instructor.
