Mr. Skow, Miss Peavey

 

    Collier and SueAnn Holmes of Meridian and Robert and Judi Peavey of Birmingham, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Deanna Brooke Peavey, to Bradford Alexander Skow, son of Dr. James Skow of Atascadero, Calif., Carol Duff of Nipoma, Calif., Mary Lou Maher of Alexandria, Va., and Conrad Maher of Lebanon, Pa.

    The wedding will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 6 p.m. at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, Mass.

    The bride-elect received a master of arts degree in elementary education from Lesley University in Boston, Mass, a post baccalaureate degree in elementary education from Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, Mass., and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Mississippi State University.

    Ms. Peavey is employed by Quincy Public Schools.

    The bridegroom-elect received a doctorate in philosophy from New York University in New York City, N.Y., a master of arts degree in philosophy from the University of Sydney in Australia and a bachelor of arts degree in English from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.

    Mr. Skow is employed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

    A reception will be held at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
