Barbara “Nannie” Pierce Frey

Services for Barbara Frey will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in the Zero community, with Pastors Dale Moore and David Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemeter with Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Frey, 64, of Stonewall, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Barbara was born Nov. 9, 1951, in Meridian, to the late Bill and Christine Pierce. She was retired from General Motors. Barbara was deeply loved and cherished by all that knew her. She was a devoted partner to her adored husband, Fred. Her love for her children was invaluable and her little Amazing “Grace” was her angel. Her unique Christ-like light was a beacon of inspiration to family and friends. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church for more than 38 years. She was loyal to the people around her and served our Lord with an endless smile.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Frey; children, Christina “Tina” (Ricky) Hamrick and Keith (Stacie) Frey; grandchildren, Grace Frey, Heather Hamrick, Hali Hamrick Morgan and Tori Hamrick; along with many nieces and nephews, family, friends and her “boys” JoJo Frey and LoRyder Hamrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Johnny Frey; brothers, Sammie and Jerry Pierce; and sisters, Sue Pierce and Sandra Kay Collier.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be today, from 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
