    Services for Cheryl Brown will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Brother Randy Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery.

    Mrs. Brown, 60, of Meridian, passed away March 20, 2016, at University Medical Center in Jackson. Cheryl was a medical technician and retired from Meridian Oncology and Associates in 2010. She was very involved with Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School. Above all, her family was her greatest treasure and they always came first.

    Survivors include her husband of 35 years, David Brown; children, April Bennett and Matt Brown; grandchildren, Shantel Brown and Gage Daniels; mother, Opal Armfield; siblings, Sonya (Dan) Britt, Darlene (Richard) Kinard, Dewayne Armfield and Leon Armfield; brother-in-law, Charlie (Betty) Brown; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her father, C.M. Armfield; and sister, Vicki White.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to American Cancer Society.
