Ronald and Janeice Powell of Toomsuba will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on Sunday, April 9, 2016, from 2-4 p.m., in the fellowship hall at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Toomsuba. The couple were married on April 14, 1966, by the Rev. L.B. Wilson in Theodore, Ala. They have three children, Terry and Wayne Powell and Traci Leifried; and five grandchildren, Jessica and Brinnon Powell, Jake Powell and Ryder and Gage Leifried, all from Meridian. Mrs. Powell is the former Janeice Powers.
