The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:

• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Nekole Cook, born in 1969, 1803 Rank Evans Road, Meridian.

• Domestic violence, second offense – Ceolyar Spencer, born in 1972, 610 49th Ave., Meridian.

• Shoplifting, first offense – Latonji Cole, born in 1972, 563 64th Ave., Meridian.

• Leaving the scene of an accident – Shedrick Waters, born in 1977, 127 50th Court, Meridian.

Auto Burglary

• 2500 block of 14th Street, Meridian.

Residential Burglaries

• 3700 block of Grandview Avenue, Meridian.

• 1000 block of 23rd Street, Meridian.

Shootings

• 100 block of 34th Avenue, Meridian.

• 2800 block of Valley Street, Meridian.

Meridian Police responded to 4 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:

• Possession of paraphernalia – Bill Johnson Jr., 40, 2415 52nd St., Meridian.

• Possession of hydrocodone – Katrina Kelly-Bolden, 43, 998 County Road 315, Pachuta. Bolden is also charged with possession of controlled substance.

• Failure to appear (justice court), four counts – Christina Marsh, 29, 506 Front St., Meridian.

• Sale of controlled substance, three counts – Antionette Alice Martinez, 45, 422 70th Ave., Meridian. Martinez is also charged with probation violation/parole.

• Possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute – Susan Baxter Murshid, 58, 422 70th Ave., Meridian. Murshid is also charged with conspiracy to possess controlled substance.

• Possession of spice – Rodrick L. Rhoney, 33, 998 County Road 315, Pachuta.

• Contempt for child support – Larry Lavon Watson, 35, 1722 30th Ave., Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Alfred James Wright, 66, 421 Willow Ridge Drive, Meridian. Wright is also charged with improper equipment.
