Mr. Coker, Miss Murray

It is with great pleasure that Mr. and Mrs. Steve A. Murray of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie, to Tommie L. Coker of Meridian, son of Judge and Mrs. Richard “Ricky” Roberts, and the late Lawrence T. Coker. 

Miss Murray is the granddaughter of Mr. Rush Hembree of Meridian, Ms. Barbara Rose of Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sanders of Meridian and the late Mr. Homer L. Murray of Meadville.

Mr. Coker is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Weir, the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Coker, Mrs. Patty Roberts and the late Mr. Lee Roberts of Meridian.

The bride-elect graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Miss Murray is a partner in the family business as owner/operators of several local restaurant franchises. 

The bridegroom-elect is a 12-year veteran of law enforcement in Lauderdale County.

Mr. Roberts is currently serving his third term as District 1 constable and is also employed as a deputy for the Lauderdale County Sheriff Department. 

The November wedding will take place at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church with Brother John Temple officiating.
