The Attorney General’s Office charged a Meridian man with two counts of exploitation of a vulnerable person Tuesday.
Law enforcement arrested Roger Lewis Jr. in Lauderdale County on Monday. The office accused Lewis, 64, of stealing two banking cards from the victim and withdrawing more than $250 from each card for his personal use between November 2016 and January 2017.
Lewis has no bond. If convicted, Lewis faces up to 20 years in prison.
Trey Rogers will investigate and Special Assistant Attorney General Kathy Parker will prosecute.
