The Mississippi Blood Services will hold a community blood drive from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 3 in Collinsville.

Donors can saves lives and get a t-shirt at the Collinsville Piggly Wiggly when they donate blood with MBS.

Donors will also be registered for a chance to win $1,000 in cash and for a chance to win a new Ram 1500 Big Horn 4 X 4 truck as part of the MBS Road to LIfe 9 Blood Drive. Mac Haik Flowood and Mac Haik Madison will give away this brand new vehicle to one donor on Aug. 25.

To donate, donors must have a valid form of identification, weigh at least 110 pounds and be at least 16 years old. Minors wishing to donate must first fill out a parental consent form, available online at msblood.com.
