Mr. and Mrs. Rick Guidry of Quitman and the Rev. and Mrs. Clay Chancelor of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Lauren Chancelor to Blake Douglas Griffin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Griffin, of Quitman.

The wedding will be a garden ceremony on Saturday, June 3, 2006, at 6 p.m. at The Stonewall House in Stonewall.

Miss Chancelor is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Smith of Stonewall and Clovis Chancelor of Quitman and the late Ancil Chancelor.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Quitman High School and received an associates degree from Meridian Community College and is pursing a degree in elementary education at Mississippi State University.

Mr. Griffin is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Gibbs and Mr. and Mrs. Lavelle Griffin of Quitman.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Heidelberg Academy and a 2005 graduate of Meridian Community College with degrees in electronics technology and telecommunications service technology.

Mr. Griffin is employed by Atwood Oceanics.

A reception will be held inside The Stonewall House following the ceremony.
