• JACKSON — Promise Keepers will return to the Mississippi Coliseum Aug. 4-5 for “Unleashed: Releasing the Raw Power of Your Heart.” The event will feature a music concert, six keynote speakers and live worship.
Promise Keepers is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to introducing men of all ages to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and then helping them to grow as Christians.

• LAUDERDALE — St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church will host an appreciation service for the church’s music ministry directors, Akeela Hudnall, musician, and Cotina McDonald, choir director, at 2:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be the Rev. • Shiloh Baptist Church’s annual youth revival is March 27-31, with the Rev. Matthew Terrell, pastor of New Prospect Baptist Church, Savoy, as guest minister.
