Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.

In some cases, the addresses of people placed under arrest were not available from the MPD; these people should not be confused with other people who might have similar names — but were not arrested by the police in the last 24 hours.



• Giving false information — Diane Wallace, 53, 309 Beckman St.

• Malicious mischief — Michael Anthony, 30, 1512 34th Ave. Anthony also is charged with petit larceny.

• Driving under the influence, first offense — Alan Naylor, 25, 1120 27th Ave.

• Contempt of court — Robert E. Blanks, 38, 1903 Ninth Ave.

• DUI, first offense — Robert J. Teall, 21, 2534 36th St. Teall also is charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

• DUI, first offense — Sharon M. Sumrall, 36, Pachuta.

• DUI, second offense — John A. Collier, 56, 1567 Bolen Long Creek Road.

• Simple assault — Samantha Gallagher, 22, 5309 Minifarm Road.

• Contempt of court — Marie S. Howard, age and address unavailable.

• Disorderly conduct — Shanice S. Nealy, 32, 2103 Ninth Ave.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department’s suspected non-traffic violations will not be published because age and address information was not available. See Tuesday’s edition for a list of weekend arrests.
