Daphne Nicole Daugherty and Daniel Sullivan Smith were married on Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Assembly of God Church in Stonewall with the Rev. Edward Shoemaker officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jackye Daugherty of Quitman and Elizabeth Smith of Diggins, Mo., and Drs. David Smith and Susan Lee-Smith of Montezuma, Calif.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Daugherty and Mr. and Mrs. Dannie Broadhead of Stonewall and Mr. and Mrs. Horace Mathis of Columbus.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Irene Smith of Macks Creek, Mo., and the late Don Smith and the late Joseph and Recy Foxworthy of Diggins, Mo.

Registry attendant was Garrith Thompson of Quitman.

Music was provided by Daniel Mosley of DeSoto, guitarist; Alicia Mathis and Tim Piland, vocalists.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with a sweetheart neckline and a fitted bodice. The bodice featured heavy beading of pearls and iridescent sequins. The cathedral-length train was edged with Chantilly lace and cut outs of lace, iridescent sequins and pearls. She wore a fingertip-length veil of silk illusion edged with satin.

Maid of honor was Kasey Daugherty, of Quitman, sister of the bride. Other attendants were Andrea Smith of Diggins, sister of the bridegroom, Alicia Mathis of Springfield, Mo., aunt of the bride.

Best man was Anthony Cabral of St. Louis. Groomsmen and ushers were Tim Piland of Springfield, Mo. and Brad Allen of Meridian, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.

Assisting at the reception were Christie Waddell, Janna Pearson, Danielle Southern and Rhiannon Waddell.

After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Springfield, Mo.
