The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Monday and 4 p.m. Tuesday.



• Underage consumption — Steven G. Heidelberg, 19, 7431 A Lauderdale-Toomsuba Road. Heidelberg was also charged with shoplifting.

• Underage consumption — Bradshawn J. Heidelberg, 18, 7431A Lauderdale-Toomsuba Road.

• Contempt of court — Larry M. Crawford, 21, 1947 Eighth Ave.

• Contempt of court — Franklin Fielder, 44, 4313 Fifth St. Crawford was also charged with provided false identity.

• Contempt of court — LaShana Horton, 27, 917 42nd Ave. D-4/113.

• Contempt of court — Travis Toole, 19, 2803 St. Andrews Apt. 36. Toole was also charged with simple assault.

• Phone Harassment — Shelia Jimison, 21, 1013 Rubush Ave.

• Shoplifting (second offense) — Ashanna Stephens, 26, 4416 26th St.

• Violation of noise ordinance — Marcus D. Coates, 20, 3302 Davis St.

• Violation of noise ordinance — Carl Jordan, 26, 2418 3rd Ave.

• Providing false information — Cornelius K. Bentley, 25, 901 38th Ave. Apt. 2. Bentley was also charged with interfering with police duties.

• Carrying a concealed weapon — Markeith Parker, 24, 200 North Hills St. Apt. 14-B. Parker was also charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday.



• Contempt of court — Kedenda Stevens, 19, 1623 17th Ave.

• Vehicle theft — Shannon Eastridge, 29, 4210 37th St. Eastridge was also charged with three counts of uttering forgery.

• Felony bad check — Annie Sue Chickasway, 27, 293 West Tucker Circle, Philadelphia.

• Phone harassment — Daniel Paul Ricks, 25, 3208 Druid Circle.

• Felony vandalism — Adam P. Moore, 24, 3229 28th Ave.

• Simple assault — Nelson Granadas, 47, 9669 Gibson Road.

• Public drunkenness — Robert R. Stack, 37, 3714 Lauderdale Road.

• DUI, other — Tania L. Wolverton, 24, 19765 Long Creek Road. Wolverton was also charged with reckless driving.

• Contempt of court — Timothy W. Nettles, 44, 1304 12th Ave.

• Trespassing — Barbara J. McNamara, 37, 3570 Highway 11/ 80 East, Toomsuba. McNamara was also charged with simple assault, and disturbing the peace.

• Uttering forgery — Kenneth B. Quigley, 44, 157 Springfield.

• Possession of Ecstasy pills — Latonja B. Gallaspy, 25, 129 5th Avenue, Laurel.

• DUI- first offense — Pharris Burton, 32, 1305 43rd Ave. Burton was also charged with driving careless and without a license and insurance, seat belt violation and contempt of court for child support.

• Trespassing — Cedric Washington, 30, 107 71st Place.

• Emergency medical service — Old Highway 19 South (Collinsville)

• Structure fire — McCraw Road (Suqualena, Lost Gap, Bailey)

• Motor vehicle accident — Highway 19 North (Martin)
