Scott, 36, co-owns Connections Unlimited, LLC, but his passion is at home. Scott spent his childhood in Florence, Ala., and after living in Lafayette, Ala., for nine years. He decided to move closer to his parents who had lived in Meridian for more than 40 years.
“To live near my parents, Meridian being a wonderful city to raise children and the opening of Connections Unlimited is what brought my family to Meridian,” said Scott.
In his spare time, Scott enjoys any and all family outings, hiking with his family, wrestling in the living room, swimming and golf.
“Basically I enjoy anything my family and I can do together,” said Scott.
Scott said he also enjoys cardio exercise and weight lifting. He is presently enrolled in an online college class where he is studying business management to fulfill his dream to earn a college degree.
Scott said his wife tells everyone she has four sons instead of three — himself being the biggest one of all. To Scott the most important thing in his life is to be a good Christian, father and husband for his family and his community. He also wants to be successful in business and, to the best of his ability, live for Christ.
For Scott, the quote to live by is “If you think you’re too small to make a difference, you haven’t been in bed with a mosquito,” by Anita Roddick.
“We all have our shortcomings; the decision to look past them, trust in God, then make a positive difference in the life of another is what it is all about,” said Scott.
