Randy and Debbie Smith of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Randi Danielle, to Chad Elliott Shedd, son of Beth Shedd of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Shedd of Columbus, Ga.

The wedding will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at 4 p.m. at Meridian Little Theatre.

Miss Smith is the granddaughter of Emma Smith of Collinsville and the late Marshall Hunter Smith and the Rev. Charles and Agnes Davis of Louisville.

The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University-Meridian. She is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.

Miss Smith is employed by the Lauderdale County School District.

Mr. Shedd is the grandson of Mary Ellen Vinson of Meridian and the late George William Vinson and Doris Shedd of Byram and the late Henry David Shedd.

The bridegroom-elect received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of Kemper Academy High School.

Mr. Shedd is employed by Denco Concrete.

A reception will be held at the Meridian Little Theatre following the ceremony.
