Mr. and Mrs. John Melton McDonnell of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Elizabeth, to James Warner Wadlington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bedford Warner Wadlington III of Sledge.

The wedding will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Central United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Harrison and David Price officiating.

Miss McDonnell is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Reeder McDonnell of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Joseph Robinson Jr. of Starkville.

The bride-elect received a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Millsaps College. She is a graduate of Lamar High School.

Miss McDonnell is employed as a marketing analyst at Bomgar Corporation in Ridgeland.

Mr. Wadlington is the grandson of Mrs. Bedford Warner Wadlington Jr. of Sledge and the late Mr. Wadlington and Mrs. William Sanford Boswell Sr. of Cleveland and the late Mr. Boswell.

The bridegroom-elect received a master of accountancy degree and a bachelor of business administration degree from Millsaps College. He is a graduate of Delta Academy in Marks.

Mr. Wadlington is employed as an associate in the Healthcare Services for Horne LLP in Jackson.

A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
