Candace Loren Dearman and Jason Duane Dutton, both of Meridian, were married on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at Pushmataha (Ala.) Methodist Church.
Parents of the couple are Rocky Dearman of Meridian and Debbie Linton of Meridian and Daniel Dutton of Trempeleau, Wisc.
Grandparents of the bride are Ben and Gaythel Dearman and the late Johnny and Doris Linton.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Dorothy Dutton and the late Carl Dutton and the late Eloise and Willis Scarbrough.
Music for the ceremony was provided The Upbeat Community Orchestra with Laura Tucker directing; vocalists were Tabby Hill and Cathy Webb.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless designer gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset bodice. The gown was covered with a vintage lace overlay that flowed into a chapel-length train.
Maid of honor was Lindsay Dearman of Meridian, sister of the bride. Other attendants were Holly Butler of Meridian and Jennifer Graham of Pascagoula. Honorary bridesmaid was Erin Jones of Meridian.
Bailey Cumberland of Preston was flower girl.
Best men were Christian Dutton of Meridian, nephew of the bridegroom, and Rusty Calvert of DeKalb, friend of the bridegroom.
Groomsmen and ushers were Chris Meyers of Lauderdale, Ryan Wilson of Jackson, Danny Dutton of Preston, Miles Joyner, John Dearman, Jason Harris and Ryan Butler, all of Meridian, and Cody Barlow of Ormond Beach, Fla.
Hayden Phillips of Mobile, Ala., was junior groomsman.
Lucinda Pitts and Pam Boyd assisted at the wedding.
A reception was held at Camp Binachi in the Whynot Community. Assisting at the reception was Lucinda Pitts.
After a honeymoon to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in Meridian.
