Randy and Mary Jo Robinson of Meridian and Randall E. Steil of Covington, La. announce the engagement of their daughter, Summer Nicole Steil, to William Jason Alexander, son of Robert and Lisa Wilson of Little Rock.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Russell Baptist Church.

Miss Steil is the granddaughter of Sonny and Jean Miller of Meridian and James H. Ainsworth of Jena, La. and Robert J. Steil of Naples, Fla.

The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mississippi State University and a bachelor’s degree in information systems from the University of West Alabama. She graduated magna cum laude from both universities. She is a graduate of Lamar High School.

Miss Steil is employed by Maples Gas Co.

Mr. Alexander is the grandson of D.E. and Shirley Alexander, Virginia Alexander and Sarah Wilson, all of Little Rock.

The bridegroom-elect served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a ground radio repair technician and was honorably discharged. He is a graduate of Newton County High School.

Mr. Alexander is employed by East Mississippi Electric Power Association.

A reception will be held in the church worship center immediately following the ceremony.
