Authorities with the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department have identified a woman who was fatally shot inside a church in the Dixon community Thursday afternoon.

 Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell said the body of Brenda Strickland Pinter, 69, was found shortly before 6 p.m. inside Dixon Baptist Church on Highway 21 South.

An autopsy was expected to be performed Friday, according to Waddell.
