Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Monday and 6 a.m. Tuesday:
• Grand larceny/personal property – Matt Raines, born in 1985, 2915 Shamrock Road, Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Christopher Graham, born in 1979, homeless. Graham is also charged with public profanity, disorderly conduct.
• Simple assault/threat – Lucas Price, born in 1979, 236 Harper Road, Meridian.
• Willful trespassing – Denise Ezell, born in 1988, 2015 Mosby Road, Apt. E-1, Meridian. Ezell is also charged with simple assault, two counts of simple assault/threat.
• Simple assault/threat – Ronald J. Robinson, born in 1969, 2200 26th Ave., Meridian. Robinson is also charged with domestic violence.
• Carrying a concealed weapon – Matthew Raines, born in 1985, 2919 Shamrock Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault – Matthew A. York, born in 1999, 966 Hwy. 19S, Meridian.

• Meridian Police responded to 1 shot fired calls but when officers arrived on the scene, there was not any evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday.
• Rape-Statutory – Robert Shane Boyette, 37, Meridian.
• Driving under the influence of other substance – Kris Allen McMahan, 37, 1776 C Hwy. 195, Meridian. McMahan is also charged with possession of paraphernalia, suspended driver’s license, no liability insurance.
• Child restraint law – Shanika Phillips, 33, 4909 Shumate Road, Meridian. Phillips is also charged with MS compulsory school attendance law.
