Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:

• Murder – Zedrick Rashad Wilson, 16, 3709 10th St., Meridian.

• Possession of stolen firearm – Corey Douglas Burt, 26, 3512 69th Ave., Meridian. Burt is also charged with felon in possession of a firearm

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday.

• Possession of cocaine – Mary L. Ivy, 35, 1216 32nd Ave., Meridian.

• Contempt/child support – Timothy Roy McDonald Sr., 49, 2518 31st Ave., Meridian.

• Disturbance of family – Shanise Evette Poke, 24, 2704 Valley Rd. Lot 80, Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana – Larryon Demarchgo, 18, 6023 Fisher Rd., Meridian.

• Trespassing/willful – Carl Sanford Wells, 38, 1126 Aycock Rd., Meridian.
