Incident Reports

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from April 6 through April 9:

Auto Burglary:

• 2400 block of 23rd Avenue.

• 2400 block of 23rd Avenue.

• 100 block of South Frontage Road.

Meridian police responded to six shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence found to support the calls. 

 

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department 

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. April 6 and 8:43 a.m. April 9:

• Stalking – James M. Boyd, 35, 548 Old Country Club Road, Apt. B5.

• Possession of Marijuana with intent to Distribute, two charges – Cleveland Amod Burks, 38, 1727 26th Ave., Meridian, MS. Burks is also charged with three counts of possession of drugs with intent, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and the sale of methamphetamine. 

• Sale of methamphetamine – Dee Ann Conlee, 46, 1819 Dogwood Drive,, Meridian, MS. Conlee is also charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance and five counts of possession of drugs with intent. 

• No driver’s license – Samarius Leeviriun Davis, 27, 1500 N. Archusa Ave. 28, Quitman, MS.

• No driver’s license – Charlie Glasper III, 44, 1945 8th Place, Meridian, MS.

• DUI, 1st Offense – Randall Slade Henderson, 18, 51 Wooten Road, Atmore, AL. Henderson is also charged with failure to dim headlights and underage consumption. 

• Forged, False or Fraudulent Prescription – Tiffany Hicks, 29, 930 Arbor Vista Blvd., Jackson, MS.

• Burglary, Dwelling House – Daryel Lavon Hodges, 46, 3512 2nd St., Meridian, MS.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Darren Lozell Houston, 35, 2811 St. Andrews St. 4, Meridian, MS.

• Conspiracy to commit a crime, felony – Carl Edward Hull, 54, 902 Fulton Ave., Meridian, MS.

• Possession of methamphetamine – David Stuart Jacob, 33, 1700 Roebuck Drive, Meridian, MS.

• Burglary, dwelling house (three counts) – Kendrick Monice Jones, 34, 2356 Highway 496, Meridian, MS.

• Speeding, 30 Over – Tyler Fabion Jones, 19, 1721 Marion Russel Rd. 38, Meridian, MS. Jones is also charged with reckless driving.

• Suspended driver’s license – Paul L. Kelley, 37, 6315 H. Street., Meridian, MS. Kelley is also charged with not wearing a seat belt, not having liability insurance and having an expired tag. 

• Motor vehicle theft, felony – Dillon Tanner Long, 19, 6325 Bogue Flower Rd., Chunky, MS. Long is also charged with malicious mischief/ vandalism.

• Seat belt violation – Deandra Lesean McDonald, 21, 5 Bay St., Union, MS. McDonald is also charged with having a suspended driver’s license.

• Domestic violence – Robert Earl Northcutt III, 43, 3500 Highway 39 N. 49, Meridian, MS.

• Disturbance of family – Candi M. Powell, 56, 5807 Marion Drive, Marion, MS. Powell is also charged with malicious mischief/ vandalism.

• Disturbing the peace – William Ray Pruitt, 35, 4658 Homestead Road, Lot 12, Meridian, MS.

• Improper Equipment – Michael Martin Scott, 28, 809 35th Ave., Meridian, MS. Scott is also charged with a seat belt violation, not having liability insurance, having an expired tag and driving under the influence, first offense.
