• 4:30 p.m. – Young Adults (7th-12th Grade) Game Day at the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library.
• 5-7 p.m. – The Budweiser Clydesdales will make an appearance in Philadelphia at the Silver Star parking lot near Stats Bar & Grill.
Thursday, May 10
• 11:30 a.m. – Meridian Lions Club will meet in the Rush Hospital Cafeteria.
• 2 p.m. – 55 & Older Bingo at the Meridian Activity Center hosted by the Lauderdale County Council on Aging.
• 4:30 p.m. – K-6th Grade Mother’s Day Presentation by Kamilah Dunn at the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library.
Friday, May 11
• 10 a.m. – The 17th Warrior Golf Classic sponsored by the East Central Community College Alumni Association will be held at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Choctaw, on the Oaks Course. The four-person scramble registration will begin at 9 a.m. The Warrior Golf Classic will conclude with a buffet lunch and awards ceremony around 3:30 p.m. Golfers can register online at www.eccc.edu/estore. • 5-7 p.m. – The Budweiser Clydesdales will parade through downtown Meridian starting at DT Grinders and make a beer delivery to DT Grinders, Harvest Grill, Brickhaus Bar and Grill, Weidmann’s, and Dontea’s Seafood and BBQ. Following the delivery parade, the Clydesdales will be available at City Hall lawn for public viewing until 7 p.m.
