Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday:

• Probation violation/parole – Andra Demario Brown, 30, 1605 30th Ave., Meridian.

• Aggravated assault – Darnell Lasha Hare, 24, 5652 Cooper Circle, Meridian. Hare is also charged with trespassing.

• Aggravated assault – Jonataidran T. Rhone, 23, 2315 Manning St., Meridian.

• Felon in possession of a firearm – Terrence L. Smith, 40, 2148 Knox Rd. 22, Meridian.

Incident Reports

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Thursday to Friday:

• Meridian Police responded to 2 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on the scene, there was not any evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday.

• Suspended driver’s license – Jereshia Rayenna Adams, 23, 3547 North Shore Drive, Toomsuba.

• Probation violation/parole – Nathan Alexander Jr., 1807 18th Ave., Meridian.

• False ID information – Quiaunte Jaimyon Blanks, 22, 516 Front St. H-6, Meridian.

• Possession of drugs while in possession of a firearm – Kadarrius A. Bush, 23, 5112 W Gatehills Drive, Meridian. Bush is also charged with no license tag, no driver’s license, no liability insurance.

• Contempt of court – Delbryant Lee, 26, 4151 Butts Road, Toomsuba.

• Court order/mandatory days – Jonathan Eugene Smith, 41, 5080 Alamucha/Whynot Road, Meridian.

• Court order/mandatory days – Shirley Diane Smith, 40, 5080 Alamucha/Whynot Road, Meridian.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Fredrick W. Waters, 55, 2327 Whitter Road, Meridian.
