Clydesdales arrive for East Mississippi run

The Budweiser Clydesdales arrived in Meridian for a four-day run in East Mississippi, with their first stop a public viewing at the Lauderdale County Agri Center on Tuesday.
Remaining appearances are:
• Wednesday, May 9 from 5-7 p.m. in Philadelphia at the Silver Start Casino parking lot near Stats Bar & Grill.
• Thursday, May 10 from 5-7 p.m. at a Business After Hours and Retailer Appreciation Party at Lauderdale County Agri Center.
• Friday, May 11, the hitch will parade through downtown Meridian starting at 5 p.m. at DT Grinders and make a beer delivery to Dontea’s Seafood, Brickhaus Brewtique, Weidmanns, and Harvest Grill, according to Mitchell Distributing. The Clydesdales will be City Hall Lawn for public viewing opportunities until 7 p.m. There will be food vendors, drinks available for sale, and live entertainment during this hour.
Mitchell Distributing is hosting the Clydesdale’s eight-horse hitch, along with the red beer wagon to Meridian and Philadelphia during their tour.
