History comes to life in downtown Meridian

History came alive in downtown Meridian on Saturday as local storytellers shared the tales of years past. Adopting the personas of well known or influential Meridianites, the actors gave attendees first person accounts of some of the city’s foundational moments. The lineup included Susie Glover, the Gypsy Queen, Mr. and Mrs. Dumont, the great Choctaw Chief Pushmataha and more.
