Families ring in 2026 at MCM-Meridian’s Noon Year’s Eve celebration

Area families and children danced their way into the new year Wednesday at the Mississippi Children’s Museum-Meridian’s annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration. The yearly event featured a variety of activities and crafts such as creating noisemakers and countdown clocks, decorating New Year’s hats and more. Noon Year’s Eve culminated at noon with an explosion of confetti marking the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026.
