Clarkdale boys defeat Russell Christian at Sam Dale Tournament; Lady Bulldogs fall

The Clarkdale Bulldogs boys basketball team extended its season record to 11-5 Monday as it took on Russell Christian Academy at the Sam Dale Tournament at Southeast Lauderdale High School. The team took a 69-42 win with Kyler Mosley named most valuable player. Mosley ended the game with 15 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

In the girls basketball matchup immediately preceding the boys game, the Lady Warriors took an early lead ending the first quarter 13-5. Clarkdale came close but wasn’t able to make up the ground ending the game with a final score of 45-25 in favor of Russell Christian.
