Waste Pro to keep regular garbage pickup on New Year’s Day

Meridian residents will not see garbage pickup interrupted by New Year’s festivities with Waste Pro planning to keep its regular schedule through the holiday, according to city officials.

The garbage service will run normal routes on New Year’s Day, with residents able to put out an additional three bags for collection as a courtesy.
