Meridian City Council recognizes Lamar School athletes

Three groups of athletes from Lamar School were recognized by the Meridian City Council on Tuesday for winning state championships in their respective sports. The Raiders football team defeated Brookhaven Academy in November to claim the MAIS Class 4A, Division III State Championship in November, while the Lady Raiders cheer team and dance team also claimed state titles.
