In a news release announcing the event, MPSD Arts Director Antonio Altman said the district wants to celebrate and encourage the arts among its students, and the festival is a way to do that and give students an opportunity to share their art with the community.

Altman said MPSD is grateful to The MAX for its support for the arts, as well as hosting the festival for the second year in a row.

“The MAX has been a very, very engaging supporter of the arts, and in recognition of your outstanding support and dedication to the arts, the partnership and commitment has made a lasting impact on our students and community,” he said.
