Local families enjoyed a day of entertainment, adventure and learning Thursday as the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library held its annual Spring Shindig. The yearly event, which coincides with spring break for most local schools, offered a petting zoo, scavenger hunt, visits with the Easter Bunny, fresh popcorn and more.
