Track and Field athletes from schools throughout the region came to compete in Meridian on Monday as Meridian High School hosted the East Mississippi Showdown at Ray Stadium. The contest saw teams from Louisville, Noxubee County, Hazlehurst, Quitman, Northeast Lauderdale, West Lauderdale, Clarkdale, Noxapater and more come to take part in the contest.
