Lauderdale County residents are invited to stop by the Long Creek Volunteer Fire Department Saturday as the department is set to hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser.

 

Set to run 7-11 a.m., the breakfast will include three pancakes, two sausage patties and a drink for $7 per plate. Delivery is also available for orders of 10 plates or more.

 

The money raised will go to purchase needed equipment to help firefighters in their fire and rescue duties. Equipment includes face shields for helmets, LED helmet lights, fire tools, fire gloves, survival blankets, stabilizers to help firefighters operate hydraulic rescue equipment and more.

 

Long Creek Volunteer Fire Department is located at 4892 Zero Road, Meridian.
