Meridian issues boil water notice

The City of Meridian Public Works Department issued a boil water notice Wednesday for the area from 22nd Street north to 61st Court and from Highway 39 to King Road.
All drinking water should be boiled vigorously for one minute before consumption. Another notice will be issued when testing requirements have been met. The department said it should only take a few days for the notice to be lifted.
