Math, science and technology educational content are woven into the exhibit.

“At the heart of Mindbender Mansion is the essential scientific task of problem solving and critical thinking needed to master the activities in this fun and unconventional exhibit,” said Museum Director Angel Rohnke.

The wacky Mr. E., master brainteaser and puzzler extraordinaire, and curator of the Mindbender Society, will greet visitors to Mindbender Mansion. This wonderfully puzzling world is an eclectic place full of puzzles, brainteasers and interactive challenges guaranteed to test the brain power and problem solving skills of even the most experienced puzzlers. Mr. E. will explain the mysteries of Mindbender Mansion and how to become a member of the eccentric Mindbender Society by gathering hidden clues and secret passwords which can only be found by solving select puzzles.

Mindbender Mansion was produced and is toured by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in Portland, Oregon. The exhibit is sponsored locally by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science Foundation, Feild Co-Operative Association and The Walker Foundation.
