A bridge along North Frontage Road between 22nd Avenue and the Cloverleaf Shopping Center is temporarily closed due to ice, city of Meridian officials announced Tuesday.

The announcement comes as nighttime temperatures drop below freezing and the National Weather Service warns of potential winter weather later in the week. Tuesday and Wednesday night lows are expected to drop into the 20s with possible snow Thursday night and into Friday.

Residents are encouraged to bundle up when heading outdoors and use caution while driving.
