Dozens of local children have new soccer, football and basketballs to play with after Meridian Parks and Recreation held its annual Holiday Ball Bash Saturday at Highland Park. The yearly event sees city workers hand out hundreds of sports balls as a way to mark the Christmas holiday and give back to the community.
