Residents and visitors got in the holiday spirit Thursday evening as Mississippi trio Chapel Hart brought its Hartfelt Family Christmas Tour to the Temple Theater in downtown Meridian. The group, from Poplarville, was formed in 2014 and gained national attention in July 2022 while competing on “America’s Got Talent.” Their work earned them an invitation to perform at the Grand Ole Opry in September 2022. Members of the Meridian Public School District youth choir were invited to open Thursday’s concert, and musical duo Two Lane Summer closed following the Chapel Hart performance.
