DALLAS (AP) — Kevin Jennings threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns, Brashard Smith ran for 120 yards with a score and 14th-ranked SMU moved closer to making the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game in its league debut. The 9-1 Mustangs beat Boston College 38-28 on Saturday. Jennings was 24-of-35 passing and his 38-yard TD to Jordan Hudson in the third quarter put SMU ahead to stay in its seven consecutive win. SMU is the only of the 17 ACC teams without a league loss, while No. 12 Miami and No. 17 Clemson both have one. Boston College is 5-5.

STANFORD, Calif (AP) — Emmet Kenney made a career-long 52-yard field goal as time expired to give Stanford a 38-35 victory over No. 22 Louisville on Saturday, ending the Cardinal’s six-game losing streak. Down 35-21 in the fourth quarter, Stanford (3-7, 2-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) tied it on Emmett Mosley V’s two touchdown passes, the second a 25-yarder from backup quarterback Justin Lamson with 45 seconds left. After forcing a turnover on downs, Stanford got the ball at its own 45, then benefited from two penalties. Louisville (6-4, 4-3) was called for unsportsmanlike conduct after a short swing pass, putting Stanford in position for the field goal. Kenney lined up for a 57-yard kick, but Louisville’s Quincy Riley was offside. Kenney then split the uprights.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Riley Leonard passed for three touchdowns and Notre Dame’s defense forced five turnovers as the No. 8 Fighting Irish beat Virginia 35-14. Leonard was 22 for 33 for 214 yards as Notre Dame (9-1) raced to a 35-0 lead and won its eighth straight game. Leonard’s TD passes came in the first half. He found Jayden Harrison with an 8-yard strike, Cooper Flanagan with a 2-year flare and hit Mitchell Evans with a 16-yard pass. Virginia (5-5) replaced quarterback Anthony Colandrea with Tony Muskett at the start of the second half. Muskett capped a five-play, 75-yard drive with an 18-yard touchdown run. He also scored on a 2-yard run with 18 seconds remaining in the game.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — LaNorris Sellers threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Raheim Sanders with 15 seconds left and No. 23 South Carolina beat No. 24 Missouri 34-30 on Saturday night for its third straight victory over a ranked opponent. Sellers had career highs of five TD passes and 353 yards, completing 21 of 30 attempts. The Gamecocks (7-3, 5-3)  have won four straight Southeastern Conference games for the first time since Steve Spurrier was coach in 2012. But it’s now one of Spurrier’s hires with the Gamecocks in Shane Beamer who has South Carolina as the hottest team in the powerhouse conference. The Tigers (7-3, 3-3) took a 30-27 lead on Brady Cook’s 37-yard TD pass to Luther Burden III with 1:10 to go

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Cade Klubnik sprinted 50 yards for a go-ahead touchdown with 1:16 remaining and No. 17 Clemson fended off Pittsburgh 24-20. The Tigers (8-2, 7-1 ACC) had done little on the ground all day before the junior quarterback tucked the ball and raced past a handful of stunned defenders to keep Clemson’s outside hopes of reaching the ACC championship game alive. Klubnik finished with 288 yards and two touchdown passes through the air and added 41 on the ground. Nate Yarnell threw for 350 yards for Pitt but the Panthers (7-3, 3-3) dropped their third straight when Klubnik zig-zagged to the end zone in the final moments.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Omarion Hampton posted career highs of 35 carries for 244 yards with a key late touchdown that helped North Carolina beat Wake Forest 31-24. The win pushed the Tar Heels to bowl eligibility. Hampton found the end zone from 6 yards out with 2:26 left for a 31-17 lead. Demond Claiborne ran for two touchdowns for the Demon Deacons, who lost three turnovers. Michael Kern took over at quarterback for Wake Forest due to an injury to starter Hank Bachmeier in the third quarter.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — No. 6 Duke beat Wofford 86-35 to follow up its first loss of the season with its most lopsided victory. Tyrese Proctor scored 15 points and Isaiah Evans had 14 for Duke. Keyed by a dominant defensive effort in the first half, the Blue Devils led by as many as 51 points. They allowed the fewest points since 1960. They now turn their attention to a marquee road tilt against No. 9 Arizona.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) — Matt Allocco scored 17 points, Markus Burton added 16, and Notre Dame defeated Georgetown 84-63. The Fighting Irish led 26-22 with five minutes left in the first half before Allocco and Nikita Konstantynovskyi scored the next eight points and Notre Dame finished on an 18-7 run. Notre Dame took a 44-29 lead at the break. In the second half, Braeden Shrewsberry scored five points and Tae Davis had four in a 13-2 run that put the Fighting Irish up 69-45 with a little under eight minutes remaining. The Fighting Irish led by at least 20 points the rest of the way, except for when Malik Mack hit a 3-pointer to make it 79-61 with two minutes left. Burke Chebuhar answered with a 3-pointer for Notre Dame.
