With the aim of empowering students who have disabilities, Meridian Community College and the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services (MDRS) hosted their annual Employer Spotlight Luncheon.
“Our goal is to empower students with disabilities by connecting them with employers who value inclusivity, helping them explore career opportunities and build pathways to success,” said Ashley Garrett, MCC Career and Technical Education support services coordinator.
Representatives with the City of Meridian, Ochsner Health, and 1st MS Federal Credit Union shared insights on career opportunities and their partnerships with MDRS.
