The 2024 high school football season continued Friday with local students joining their fellow teams throughout the state on the fields. Here is a look at the scores:
– Meridian fell to Petal with a final score of 35-19.
– Clarkdale was unable to hold back the visiting Heidelberg Oilers falling 70-7 at home.
– Southeast suffered a shutout loss to Noxubee County with a score of 52-0.
– Northeast fell to Purvis with a final score of 57-46.
– West Lauderdale handily defeated Choctaw Central in Collinsville for a 40-14 win.
– Lamar School beat East Rankin with a final score of 47-14.
