Officers Casey Vanderslice, left, and Matthew James are recently joined Meridian Police Department  

The Meridian Police Department is welcoming two new officers to protect and serve the Queen City community. Casey Vanderslice is a veteran policeman who previously served with the Moss Point Police Department. Matthew James is a recent graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy.
