The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

  • Disorderly conduct — 927 42nd Ave., Meridian

Sept 13

  • DUI refusal — 6049 New Hope Rd., DeKalb
  • Disorderly conduct and resisting arrest — 5806 Mosby Rd., Meridian

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday through Wednesday.

Sept 11

  • Residential burglary — 100 block of Robin Lane at 1:18 p.m.
  • Shooting — 3000 block of 10th Avenue at 8:02 a.m.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

  • Possession of a controlled substance

Sept 12

  • Simple domestic violence second offense
  • DUI first offense, following too closely and failure to maintain liability insurance
  • DUI first offense, littering, no turn signal and failure to maintain liability insurance

Sept 13

  • Contempt of court for failure to appear or complete jury service
  • DUI first offense, disobedience of traffic control devices, no/expired driver’s license, failure to maintain liability insurance, improper equipment, violation of seat belt law, driving on roadways laned for traffic outside, driving on wrong side, lighting equipment requirements and felony fleeing pursuit
