July 17

  • Domestic violence — 330 56th Ave., Meridian
  • Public drunk — 468 Jeffery Acres Rd., Meridian

July 18

  • Simple assault — 3830 Poplar Springs Dr. Apt. A3, Meridian
  • Shoplifting — 506 Front St. Ext. Apt. D6, Meridian
  • Shoplifting — 54 Ellis Ave., Louisville
  • Shoplifting — homeless

  • Auto burglary — 6300 block of 20th Street Ext. at 1:51 p.m.

  • Residential burglary — 1400 block of 24th Avenue at 1:25 p.m.

July 19

  • Auto burglary — 4300 block of Highway 39 N. at 3:54 a.m.
  • Auto burglary — 100 block of Highway 1

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.

July 17

  • Disobedience of traffic control devices, driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license, no tag/expired tag/improper tag and failure to maintain liability insurance
  • Failure to register under sex offender registration law
  • Expired tag, no/expired driver’s license, failure to maintain liability insurance, violation of seat belt law and failure to pay
  • Disturbance of a family, possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids, disorderly conduct: interfering with lawful order and resisting/obstructing arrest

  • Contempt of court — enforcement of judgement

  • Failure to pay
