City celebrates Independence Day at Bonita Lakes

Meridian residents headed to Bonita Lakes Thursday afternoon for fun, food and fireworks at the city of Meridian’s annual Fourth of July event. The celebration of America’s 248th birthday also included live music and ice cold drinks to help attendees stay cool in the summer heat.
